Lashonda Morgan

as Gillian

Lashonda Morgan is a black actress, writer and musician based in London. After many years behind the camera she decided to finally take the step to live out her dream in front of the camera in 2020, starting her training at Identity School of Acting in the professional classes and becoming a member of the National Youth Film Academy. 

Lashonda has starred in a theatre production of “2%” as Celine written by Alex Houston and a bored intern named rose in a comedy sketch produced by StudioYes in the summer of 2021, as well as currently filming for her first independent feature “DEON” as supporting role Valerie, a short written and produced by Stinkin Hippies “Dodger and the King” as Dodger and now of course Happy Hour as Gillian.

Lashonda has been a creative for as long as she can remember, picking up instruments at the drop of a hat, writing herself into her favourite TV shows and films, and creating both still and video content for others in her freelancing and full time endeavours. Now she is finally having the opportunity to actually act in the content she and other people create.

Rosie May Cook

as Steph

Rosie is an LGBTQ+ actor that has been involved in many short and student films in and around Bath, Bristol and Cardiff. Her background is in theatre so she is excited to be branching out into film work.

Rosie has been working professionally as a stage performer since 2018 after graduating from Guildford School of Acting where she studied musical theatre. In between her studies at drama school and before at Bath Spa university, Rosie starred in numerous short films including award winning student film Dream Girl. It was these short films that sparked the love of screen performance in Rosie and why she decided to join the talented members of NYFA this year.


Most recently, Rosie played the leading role of Polly in Gershwin musical comedy 'Crazy For You' in the Theatre Royal Bath for which she won the award for characterisation. She is currently performing as part of 1950's rock'n'roll trio The Jivettes touring the south west of England.

Louis Prince Duke

as Elliot

Louis Anthony Prince Duke is a Mixed-Race actor of English, Jamaican and Guyanese heritage based in London. He has most recently trained at Identity School of Acting. He is also trained in Muay Thai and basic stage combat and basic weapons training.

His acting inspirations include Tom Hardy, Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington as he really admires their attention to detail to character study.

Tamara Tooher

as Jane

Tamara is an Irish actress/director and a graduate of University College Cork (2014) and Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company (2017). She has always had a love to for telling stories and is excited to widen her theatrical skill set to film. Born in South Africa to an Irish family has meant that she is in turmoil, every year for the Six Nations but manages to calm her nerves with her favourite drink; a chilli apple martini!


She has worked both on and off stage, with a variety of theatre companies, in Ireland and the UK, such as Corcadorca, Garter Lane, Clay and Diamond, Shunt and founded her own company Fools Rush In in 2017. She has performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had directed shows for the New Director's Showcase at Cervantes Theatre, the Camden Fringe Festival and The Vaults Festival. Tamara is currently represented by Amazon Artists Management.

Ivelina Tsvetanova

as Laura

Ivelina was born in Bulgaria but moved to Greece and studied acting in her final year of high school. She then moved to London where she has been in a feature film and some short films. She is driven with the desire to contribute to the evolution of humanity through her performances.

Ivelina is multilingual and loves reading texts from lost languages.

Nathan Bhamra

as Simon

Nathan is originally from London, now based in Leighton Buzzard with a background in theatre. He most recently worked on 2 short films and an audio book.

Nathan studied A-Level drama and theatre studies and then went on to become a part-time professional wrestler. Within this he was heavily involved in promotional videos, creation of characters and expanding to fit storylines/personal development. He has had the opportunity to star in various showing across the UK and even Italy!

Most recently he has been a Wrestling Commentator, as well as a Director for GeoFry Productions which includes podcasts and show reviews. He's very keen and excited to be working on the role of Simon in Happy Hour, and feels this is the perfect opportunity to expand his horizons.

Konrad Oleksiewicz

as David

Konrad Oleksiewicz was born April 1991 in the small town of Pszczyna in Poland. He never thought that he was going to be a professional actor, but for most of his life, he was involved with street and stage entertainment and theatre. In 2016 he decided to start professional training at Acting School Haliny and Jana Machulskich in Warsaw and he received his diploma in 2019.


After, he moved to Scotland, where he became a member of the National Youth Film Academy to continue his training. His latest feat was a lead role in the student movie Sin Eater which was his first screen performance in the UK and he can't wait to go out into the deeper water.

Briony Davis

as Iona

Originally from the Lake District, now living in and being inspired by the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Briony's ambition has always been to work creatively, she's interested in where ever her creative instincts take her.

Briony is a self taught artist, painting mostly portraits for most of her life. A member of both NYFA and NYT, both communities have brought her so much in fellow collaborators and friends within the industry. Briony's ambition is to work in film, both as an actor and in other roles as well.
